Liaoning Hongyu Refractories Group Co., Ltd., formerly known as Dashiqiao Hongy Refractories Co., Ltd. established in 1999, is a specialized manufacturing enterprise for magnesia-based refractories from mining, production of raw material to finished product processing. It is located at the Magnesite Capital of China - Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province and the total manpower is more than 1000. Hongyu Group owns one mine with proven magnesite storage capacity of 20 million tons and annual mining capacity of 400,000 tons, 8 sintering kilns for caustic calcined magnesite, 4 sintering kilns for dead burned magnesite, 2 sintering kilns for middle-grade magnesia, 24 sintering furnaces for fused magnesite. In addition, the group is also equipped with two 66 KV substations, 3 plants for manufacturing MgO-C bricks and 4 high temperature tunnel kilns with advanced manufacturing equipment including Les Hydraulic Press of HPFIII2500T (2 nos.) and HPFII2000T (2 nos.) as well as friction machines of 1000T (1 no.), 630T(4 nos.) and 800T (3 nos.)
The group is oriented with shaped and unshaped refractories with the annual production capacity of 300,000 tons, out of which 150000 tons are for shaped refractories and 150000 tons are for unshaped refractories. With advanced refractory manufacturing technology, high standards of production equipment and testing facilities as well as scientific management method and perfect quality control system, Hongyu Group can, based on the customer requirements, design and produce various kinds of refractories including MgO-C brick, Al-MgO-C brick, Al-SiO2-C brick for converters, EAFs, Ladles and foundry ladles and bricks for RH furnace.
